As the leader of the category, this role is responsible for driving sales and margin growth, in accordance to the strategic plan, by developing consumer focused product collections that will bring the brand vision to life in the market place.
The nature of the work is focused on driving product excellence through effective communication within a highly cross-functional environment and building strategic relationships internally and externally to the company to ensure efficient execution of product initiatives.
The key responsibilities will include:
·Develops profitable and efficient seasonal plans in accordance with category strategic direction
·Builds seasonal briefs that deliver brand and fiscal goals, identifying white spaces in the market
·Leads product creation process in collaboration with design and development
·Facilitates cross functional communication with merchandising, sales, marketing and planning
·Builds strong relationship throughout the organization to ensure success
·Collaborates with regional merchandising and sales to execute company plan.
·Works with marketing to ensure proper communication of product stories to consumer
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience of product management gained in footwear, ideally in large multiple retail environments with European scope. You will be team orientated, result driven and be an exceptionally results driven.
