A RTW fashion brand at an exciting time of growth is looking for an experienced Accounts Clerk/Credit controller to join there small, but fast paced team.
This role will assist with the day to day running of the accounts function which will include:
·Preparing quarterly and annual VAT returns
·Manage bank reconciliation, cashbook maintenance, petty cash and expenses
·Prepare and manage the monthly payroll process whilst ensuring submissions to HMRC are in accordance with statutory requirements
·Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers
·Managing credit control ensuring customer debts are being managed
·Resolving any queries and complete various ad hoc accountancy duties as required
The ideal candidate will have a clear accountancy background and have a strong knowledge of working within a garment/fashion retailer business. You will have ideally have AAT qualifications and have prior experience using Sage 50.
You will have a brilliant attention to detail, excellent time management, strong communication skills and excellent telephone manner.
